This campground has to be one of the very best in the area. The washrooms are Spic and Span if you will. (Maybe that is a Canadian saying) The staff and campers are extremely friendly. Everyone seems to know everyone, probably because there are a lot of repeat campers, year after year. When you pull up for the very first time up the driveway, a sudden feel of comfort is felt. The aura, of peace, love, and acceptance. 🙂

This was our very first time at the campground and we loved it. We stayed in one of the campers, which was very clean and welcoming! The campsite was very large with a lot of room for activities. The entire campground was clean, including the bathrooms and showers! We felt very welcome and safe here. We’re planning on making this a yearly tradition now, and hope to bring some friends in the future!

My husband and I stayed last year for 3.5 days and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful location, cleanliness, and hopetality! We returned this year for camping last weekend and now the Bethel Woods Steely Dan concert. The brothers here @ Happy Days Campground go out and above to make your stay feel welcomed. We love it here!

My boyfriend and I came here last year for my birthday weekend/memorial day weekend, let’s just say we’re going back, this time for a full week this place is absolutely perfect.
A truly great campground. Tim and George know how to treat you right.
George and Tim are the best of hosts. Always a great time. The best place to stay for a Bethelwoods show for sure.
We have been camping here now for 3 years the place is amazing so close to bethel’s concerts and the guys Tim and George are so nice
Best place to camp ever!!!!! The owners are incredibly awesome and make sure you have a good time. I will be back every year and don’t forget to buy a shirt!!!!!
The staff Tim and his brother are so great, came by several times to make sure everything was ok… the campground itself is beautiful.. We are going to make staying here a yearly tradition
You won’t find a better campground than this! I left earlier today and am missing it and can’t wait to go back already. The owners, George and Tim, are two of the nicest men you’ll ever meet! They definitely made our stay even more enjoyable. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% satisfied. The bathrooms and showers are spotless! (Thanks Tim! ) I honestly don’t have a bad thing to say about happy days! Go there and not only will you not regret it, you’ll be planning your next visit!
Thank you George and Tim for taking such good care of us!!!!! Missing you guys on rounds tonight!
We drove from Quebec, Canada, to visit the Woodstock site and needed to find a campground to stay the night . The name alone drew us to pick this particular campground. Who would not be drawn by the name Happy Days.! It was the best camping experience I have ever had . The site next to ours had a group that sang and played guitar all evening with songs pertaining from the era of Woodstock 1969. It is a 6 hour drive from Canada, but so worth it .! We plan to return .
Stayed hear for Steely Dan concert. Great place, great people! They shuttled us to n from the show even though it ran late by at least an hour. Highly recommend!!
We stayed there for the Hall and Oates concert this weekend what a great place. I highly recommend it and the owners are the most wonderful nice people you could find. It was was the most enjoyable weekend that fills your spirt and rejuvenates the soul!
The best camping experience I’ve ever had! Beautiful campground and owners/employees are the nicest people! This is a family owned/run business, which makes me love it even more! Can’t wait to camp here again this year!!! Happy Days, thanks for being you!

Great place to camp. Tim and George could not be better hosts. Each spot is in a wooded area and includes a fire pit. $5 for an ample bundle of firewood and good prices on items in the general store for all your last minute needs. Extremely clean bathroom facilities. Tons of games in the rec center which has a piano.

My friends and I stayed here for MysteryLand weekend and we absolutely love this place, nothing but good things to say about it. The family that runs and owns the campground were very friendly and genuinely cared about their campers having a good time. They told us that we could do whatever we wanted to with our camp sight because for the weekend it was our own, they would just appreciate it if we made it easy to clean up when we left. They even told us there was no rush to check out the day we left, just as long as we were out by the end of the work day. They were whipping up burgers and meatball subs and other delicious foods around the clock; the quality and prices were well worth the wait after the festival. They also had shuttles going to and from the festival, the price included in the $100 ML weekend camping fee. Everything about this place is perfect. There’s only one shower facility and that’s near the main entrance, a bit of a walk, but a little walking never hurt anyone. They had porta-potties set up around the camp sight so that you wouldn’t have to walk the distance to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and honestly, they were exceptionally clean for porta-potties!
Anyways, Happy Days Campground really knows how to cater to their guests and they are some of the nicest people I met over the weekend. $100 for the entirety of the ML weekend, around-the-clock shuttles included, is a reasonable/doable price. Definitely going here again.

This is a sweet little campground. Awesome location and great ownership. Would highly recommend. Plus only 4 miles from the Bethel Woods performing arts center. Hope to be back again soon!

This place is great. Super clean showers and bathrooms and very sweet owners. The camp store is filled with antiques and they have super cheap firewood. Owners were very laid back and the site was spacious and quiet.
“Nice campground ”

My family goes up here every summer. There are really nice people and adequate amenities. There are plenty of trees and it feels like camping as opposed to some other spots closer to the river. It’s tucked away enough to be private but not too far from restaurants and stores. Bathrooms are clean but could use an upgrade. Playground is lacking.

Great campground in Bethel, NY., so close to Bethel Woods. The owners are super nice & helpful. Cleanest rest rooms I’ve ever seen at a campground! The sites are roomy enough & just really peaceful. Going back again for Bethel Woods Beer Festival & Wine Festival.

My boyfriend and I took a trip to Bethel to visit the Woodstock festival site and stayed at Happy Days campground. Campground was great! We had an excellent stay. We went in November so we were the only ones staying the night. It was so quiet. We got wood from the check in office and had a nice fire. We felt like we were all alone in the woods. It was quite nice. We will be back!

I have stayed at this campground twice while attending concerts at Woodstock. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Very clean facilities. You can even rent cute vintage campers to keep you out of the rain.
