I was especially shocked at how clean the bathrooms and showers were. It was delightful! The owners were incredibly nice and so accommodating. The campsites were spacious and perfect.

My wife and I have been coming to Happy Days for a couple of years now and we think it's great. Tim and Dave are such nice guys and so accommodating. And you can't beat getting a shuttle up to the concerts. It's the best. Would recommend it for any occasion.
I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save)....
Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite.
Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. Booked for the Bethel Woods concert goers.
Really the best place to relax ,we had a wonderful time. We will be back the four of us ( from Montreal) for Woodstock 50 years anniversary. We already made our planning better to arrive during day time....
Keep the spirit alive of the peace and love movement my friends !!! See you in 2 years or before depending of the shows coming next year.

Super Clean bathrooms and showers , friendly crowds, Tim and George very accommodating, the playground was great for my son he loved it. at night time they had ice cream and , firewood very affordable I can honestly say one of the best campgrounds in Sullivan County, each site has its very own pit and picnic table very spacious that you can accommodate 2 cars thanks will be back”

“Stayed for an early spring weekend testing out the new RV. Tim was an excellent host and took great care of us. The campground was nice – large sites with lots of trees and space in between. Bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Only issue we had was Wi-Fi which was a bit spotty. Great location for Bethel Woods shows – about 5-10 mins away tops.”

“My boyfriend and I took a trip to Bethel to visit the Woodstock festival site and stayed at Happy Days campground. Campground was great! We had an excellent stay. We went in November so we were the only ones staying the night. It was so quiet. We got wood from the check in office and had a nice fire. We felt like we were all alone in the woods. It was quite nice. We will be back!”
